Women In Defense Annual Cancer Awareness Luncheon @ Water’s Edge Events Center, Bel Camp – 10/7
Women In Defense (WID), a national security organization that cultivates and supports the advancement and recognition of women in all aspects of national security, proudly hosts their annual cancer awareness and fundraising luncheon supporting Cancer LifeNet at the Kaufman Cancer Center. Featured luncheon presenter, Dr. Ramon DeJesus.

First Friday Celebrations in Bel Air – 10/7
Local live music, great food, beer and wine garden, plus more!  The Bel Air Downtown Alliance’s First Fridays in October will feature “pink cups” and support The Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation’s Chesapeake Cancer Alliance.

First Friday Celebrations in Havre de Grace – 10/7  Come out and support local business, visit vendors and local restaurants while enjoying the beautiful, waterfront City of Havre de Grace.

Chick-fil-A hosts “Cookies For A Cure” – 10/12 at (3) Harford County Chick-fil-A locations including Aberdeen, Abingdon and Forest Hill.  100% from all cookie sales on 10/12 will be donated to the Kaufman Cancer Center.

Chesapeake Cancer Alliance hosts two partnership fundraising events on 10/13 — 

Funds For Friends & Sip and Paint event at Greene Turtle Harford Mall (11 a.m. – midnight) 20% of your sales receipt will be donated back to Cancer LifeNet.  To learn more and register for the Sip & Paint event,  visit the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance Facebook Page.

TALBOTS Share the Fun and Make a Difference (3:00 – 7:00 p.m.) 16D Bel Air South Parkway 10% of pre-tax sales will benefit Cancer LifeNet.

THINKPINK BREAKFAST – 10/16 hosted by the Abingdon Fire Company.  The tastiest way to battle breast cancer.  Pancakes, french toast sticks, eggs, sausage, and more! $8/ Adults $4/ Kids (under 10) held at the Abingdon Fire Company Hall @ 3306 Abingdon Road – in Abingdon. 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.  All proceeds benefit the Kaufman Cancer Center & the MD State Fire Association Cancer Support Network.

“Wednesday & Thursday Night Lights!” C Milton Wright Football vs. Aberdeen – 10/19 – JV Football Game @ 6 p.m. at C Milton Wright High School  10/20 – Varsity Football Game @ 7 p.m. hosted at C Milton Wright High School supporting cancer awareness and the Cancer LifeNet program at the Kaufman Cancer Center.

Katie Walls’ Bras for a Cause – Month-long collections
Plaza Ford, Bel Air celebrates their month-long cancer awareness and fundraising promotions. Bra collection locations are countywide including the Kaufman Cancer Center at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health.  Contact Plaza Ford for more information.
