Special events are a great way to showcase community partners and donors while supporting Upper Chesapeake Health’s mission to provide unparalleled healthcare to our community. From golf outings and tennis tournaments, to social events like the Upper Chesapeake Hospice Regatta and the biennial Starnight Gala, there are many events to choose from and various programs and services lines you can support. Join Upper Chesapeake Health (Team UCH) at the 2012 Baltimore Running Restival as we run, volunteer, and fundraise for the Cancer LifeNet nurse navigator and supportive services in Harford County.  No matter your involvement, together we will make a difference in supporting the Cancer LifeNet services and our neighbors when they need us most.

Runners:  Runners of all distances can participate in the Baltimore Running Festival as part of Team UCH!  Whether you want to run alone or conquer all 26.2 miles with a group of friends, we hope that you will run and fundraise in support of Cancer LifeNet at Upper Chesapeake Health.

Distances:  Kids Fun Run, 5K, Half Marathon*, Marathon* and 4-Person Martahon Relay

*USA Track & Field (USATF) Boston Marathon qualifier event

 

Volunteer:  By being a charity team in the Baltimore Running Festival, we are in need of twenty (20) volunteers to help with handing out runner packets to all of the participants in the Baltimore Running Festival, as well as registration should there still be open spots.   Volunteers shifts are available all day on Friday, October 12th, and will be assigned in three hour shifts.

 

Donate:  The best motivation Team UCH can have is you!  If you’re not a runner, be part of the team by making a donation to support Cancer LifeNet and provide our runners with a little more pep in their step!  Donors who make a gift of $50 or more will be invited to the Team UCH pasta party and donors who make a gift of $100 or more will receive a Team UCH UnderArmour technical shirt.
